Director of Tax
Location: St. Louis, MO
Job Type: Hybrid, 2 days WFH
Salary: $110,-00-155,000/year + Bonus
Client/Job Summary:
Our client is a leading Fortune 500 insurance firm. They are expanding their Finance & Accounting team and are seeking a Director of Tax to help maintain tax accounting, tax research, international tax compliance and global initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Process improvement, international tax technology initiatives, compliance, special projects.
• Identify areas that may impact the company on a global landscape.
• Perform tax research, analyze tax issues, assist with review of tax returns, etc.
• Lead and manage team, establish goals, and review work.
• Communicate with consultants, associates, and management.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax or related work experience
• 10+ years accounting experience with 8+ years in tax accounting, 4+ years international tax, and 3+ years management experience
• Advanced tax research, project management, team leadership, and persuasion skills.
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. international tax compliance requirements and broad business practices.
